Iobit Malware Fighter

    Hey everyone, I have been testing this (Iobit Malware Fighter Free) product lately and wondered if anyone can shed some light on the issue.

    1. What does File Guard do? I am unable to get it to do anything.

    2. What Does Browser Guard protect? Cause I am throwing SpyCar at it and no luck getting it to go off.

    3. If I download EICAR from Internet Explorer I get no detection but if I download it from Firefox I get an alert? Anyone else have this issue.

    Right now I only have access to the free version (I am keeping my eyes out for a pro giveaway to test the real time). Has anyone else had any weird experiances like this? Does anyone else use this product? All I am able to confirm right now is some limited real time registry protection and on-demand scanning

    The Browser Guard only protects your browser's settings from modification. As for pro keys, I believe the Iobit MF facebook page gives out free keys occasionally.
