    Hi all

Recently my Dell Inspiron 8100 HD died on me. So I had to install a new HD. So everything went smoothly ... except ... when I tried to install QuickTime driver for my Minolta Dimage X, it just wouldn't install and kept giving me these message. But it installed nicely on my old HD.

I have WinXP Home Ed OS with SP1a now. My previous version was just WinXP Home Ed when the Quicktime driver was still working.

I got these from trying to install the CD driver that come with my Minolta Dimage X camera.

    1) QuickTime Player.exe - Bad Image.
The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\QuickTime.qts is not a valid Windows image. Please check this agaist your installation diskette.

I then proceed to install by clicking "Continue" ... it installed ... but when I try to load up / play the movie clips from my camera I got this ...

    2) QuickTime Unavailable.
QuickTime failed to initialise. Error #2093.
Please make sure QuickTime is properly installed on this computer.

    Please advice.

    Cheers

    Chew
