In-depth vs Smart scan - on demand

What's the difference between an on-demand in-depth scan and an on-demand smart scan, while you have them both set up the same way?

A Smart scan is a pre-configured scan. If you were to set up the two scan settings to be exactly the same then there would be no difference between the scans. I hope that my answer is of assistance.
