I am running Nod32 2.7 on XP Pro. Lately, I've noticed when I shut down my computer, Windows attempts to close IMON and does so unsuccessfully--so I have to manually close it. I do not use an email program, but instead read my email directly from the google website. Was wondering if IMON is not necessary for me? And if so I would like to deactivate it to avoid this issue. What would you suggest?

    Hello!

I suggest you start using v3.0.684 or 4.0.437 - they don't have IMON but work differently to filter email/web traffic.

    Although upgrade to v3/v4 is prefferable , you could also try to (1) uninstall v2.7 and (2) perform Winsock repair , (3) reboot , (4) reinstall v2, v3 or v4 .
