Well I had Amon and Imon disabled and even had nod32kui stopped from loading on startup and many things on my system still would not work correctly after the update. I had a major system slowdown and had a number of programs that would take a long time to even startup and connect to the net after the update. I had one that would not connect at all after the update, saying there was a winsock error. I am on a cable modem and use WINXP Home SP1. I have uninstalled NOD32 and eveything is back to normal. ESET blew it on this one, and I would imagine based on thier past performance it will be sometime before this is fixed.

I had some of the same problems.

I restarted IMON clicked the "Repair Now" button in
"Network Configuration Changes" then rebooted after it did that.

All is fine now on my WinXP Pro, cable connection, with IMON running.

Web surfing is back to normal now with IE and OE is back to running ok.

All other Internet programs also running normal now.

    ---edit---

Well, I'll have to take back what I posted. Mine started acting up again with IMON enabled so I had to shut down IMON again.

I noticed as long as you keep an Internet app like IE loaded with a window open or minimized then opening another URL works fine.

However, if you close IE then open IE again it takes a while to load a website.

    this is definetly re-producible.
just tested it and fired IMON back up
    and all the problems return(win98se)
    ie..slow down web/lagging Outlook Express
    Aim/DeadAim not responding.
at least its good to know what it is.. ;)
hopefully Eset will address this with an update soon

Have you already tried repairing the network connection in IMON to see if that makes any difference?
