My picks were:

KAV
ProcessGuard
ZoneAlarm

I personally feel that the overall protection of PG is much greater than MS AS, but MS AS may be more appropriate for users who do not wish to put any learning time in. But as I quickly learned with MS AS (actually the Giant AS version) there is quite a learning curve with MS AS also, since there are lots of pop-ups asking for authorization to changes. Six of one, or half-a-dozen of the other.

I agree with you regarding MSAS. I still feel that I need to look into Process Guard. It seems to be a popular application here on these forums.

I am still torn between PG and RegDefend, I know you said give PG a shot first so I might just do that.

LnS

But that is only because we need to limit it to three.
