i'm just guessing that internet explorer is accessing this forum multiple times to load different images and html? ie simultaneous connections to load things faster. i think it goes up to 4.

What are the connection types being blocked? You blocked out the local and remote ports along with the IP's?

Maybe you could try using a packet sniffer to see what is being transmitted. I don't use IE so i'm not sure if this is normal :)

Without the destination IP/port it is hard to say.
The second group you marked have have "Lock..." in the Type column. Does this refer to the Internet lock? Did you turn that on?

Edit: Do you have IE set to ask each time and how many prompts do you get when you connect?

    Regards,
