I'm looking for suggestions regarding cache and Index.dat cleaner software for IE8.
Internet Explorer 8 came with our new laptop and it has been a better browser than it was previously on our old desktop pc.

The software has to be compatible with Windows 7 64 bit system.
    Preferably free.

Any suggestions and shared experiences would be appreciated.

DumpCache? Don't know if it's compatible with Win 7 64 bit, but give it a try.

Does the tried and true CCleaner not work?

    Yes to some extent.
My problem with CCleaner is that it cleans passwords when I have that box unchecked. Otherwise, CCleaner is a great free program.

I have found that Revo is compatible with 64 bit Windows 7 so I'm in the process of comparing the browser cleaner in that program with a few others that work on the os.

Does it now work, when I bought it I was less than thrilled. I emailed many times, at the time they had a total money back for any reason. I asked for my money back and they asked me to diagnose it for them I did all they asked me to do. I still didn't get my refund or it fixed so I gave up trying. hope you fare better.:cautious:

    So far it works good.
The only glitch that I noticed was getting the reg key accepted. It did eventually accept the key.
    Knock on wood.
