Does anyone know how to get them back?

    Many thanks,

If I recall correctly one of CCleaner's functions is responsible for that.

Am I the only one that thinks that's slightly dumb? I mean, clearing history/temp files doesn't do this with any other browser that I'm aware of.

I think it's only logical. After all, favicons are "temporary" - they are frequently changed by webmasters (Google seems to love doing this).

There are a few that seem to like to change. But, for the most part, icons stay the same unless it's a re-branding/site re-design. Wilders has had the same icon for as long as I recall. Granted they aren't all that important unless you're using something like the "bookmark bar", where generally you only see icons anyway.

I clean my temp files all the time, I don't loose my icons. This is a CCleaner issue and has been for a long time. I ditched it entirely over this issue and their lack of care to fix it.

Thanks. I still use CCleaner because it doesn't seem to screw things up like BleachBit does (minus the obvious Favicon issue), but I'll make sure to set up that exclusion.
