I have updated and run Ad-Aware as per your forum directions. I have run AdAware for several months now, and I update it everytime I connect to the internet and run it at least once a week.
I have the "casinopalazzo" redirect on my IE as well as the sex icon on my desktop. I have run Hi-Jack this and here I my log. I am a bit of a computer "dummy" when it comes to all this technical stuff. Please help...if you can, but in laymans terms....thanks very much. I look forward to your reply with a way to get rid of this annoying redirect!
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Kit,

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,HomeOldSP = about:blank

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {71F443A6-27E1-44D0-B2E8-9EFC70877C81} - C:\WINNT\system32\knjk.dll (file missing)

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Windows Update Checker] C:\WINNT\system32\deinst_qfe002.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SpywareGuard] C:\WINNT\system32\winprc64.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Spyware Begone] c:\freescan\freescan.exe -FastScan

    Download and run: CWShredder
Use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\WINNT\system32\deinst_qfe002.exe
    C:\WINNT\system32\winprc64.exe

Then do a find files for jsconsole.dll and let me know how many and where you find it.

    Regards,

    Pieter
