I am using the Elefaenza blue icon theme and I love it.There is only one icon that I want to change and it is the one on the pic.Can someone please tell me how to change it to the icon in the Ambiance theme.
cet follow that last 2 threads 956 957 and choose what ever way you like mine way is thread 956 replace icon with same name https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=232753&page=39 what i usally do is copy the backup of icon or rename it and change it with another icon of my desire its easy and safe like you get your icons in /home/.icons/theme name/status open hidden files you see .icons folder there see icons you want to change the icon you are talking about is either in status or places please see the photo of icon and its fuction and then change it and before doing it back it up to some place or rename it also to make icon 100% work you have to put same name what ever there you are using like for example you want to replace icon of start-here icon form Aaa theme to there Bbb theme but there its written as start ..............so you have to rename icon start-here as start and copy past it to Bbb theme ie in simple words change icon photo with same name as theme do the trick
the location of your icon is home/.icon/NITRUS/status/Scalable search status you find it check my selected icon and cursor change that to icon you want simple also check location
Thank you for your answer.But the icon is not in the folders you have suggested.I found the icon in the devices section but there are 3 of the same pic. computer.svg gnome-computer.svg and gnome-dev-computer.svg.So I am not sure which one to change. I installed the Faenza ambiance theme and it is a more complete suite.I will use it

one more thing you might notice is tiheum icons is under license GPL 3 and Nitrux-OS-Icons are under license Creative Commons so they are pretty safe to use also you can download and check then on virus total site and match the hash checksum as well
I always install the icons in the .icons in home (hidden folder).But since tiheum icons are safe I added the ppa and installed Faenza and the Faenza Ambiance is for my taste.Thanks. I do not know why but when I extracted the files in the .icons home folder for Faenza the notification icons did not work.So I had to install it from the ppa to use the Faenza Ambiance version.
