I regret uninstalling Defensewall

Hey,
I had a chance, and I blew it.
I downloaded Defensewall from Giveawayoftheday.com
But then I uninstalled it, because I had several issues (slowdowns).
And I thought it would be useless, because Defensewall from GOTD won't
update to further versions. But then I realized, how important HIPS is,
and now I'm regretting it.
I wanted to try OA Free, but it's not vista compatible, so I had to let it go.
Oh well, I hope ThreatFire Free somehow covers it up.

 

what has happened to make you think HIPS are important ? I know that in recent years HIPS have become fashionable but has something happened - like an infection that HIPS would have stopped ? My own experience of HIPS is fairly limited - 3 programs over a period of a few months and nothing was stopped. To be fair there was nothing bad to stop so I just stopped using them.

Right there you see that we are really fortunate to have such a conscientious champion in satisfaction to his customers. I also installed the GiveAway app of DF and i must say i'm overwhelming impressed with this program. In my book it's a MUST HAVE!

 

I am in the same vote as you; I installed DefenseWall as a GOTD giveaway but then I reimaged and lost it. It's a real bummer too because I really liked it. Oh well, I'll have to wait until I have the money.
