I need free or inexpensive server AV

Per VBA32: Offer is not valid for Server edition. Server Edition doesn't support Windows Server 2008 x64.

Vba32 for Vista (vba32-vista-3.12.10.11-multilanguage.exe) is need to be installed on Windows Server 2008 x64.
Offer IS valid for this edition.

 

I have a 2K3 box and have found that the following work:

Malwarebytes
SuperAntiSpyware
Rising (I only tried the free one)
a-squared Anti-Malware
Vipre
Spyware Doctor w/Antivirus
ThreatFire

From what I hear, PC Tools AV, Twister and Clam AV work as well. Whether or not you want to use something like Clam to protect critical data is another thing.

If you can get it from work or the university or whatever, Symantec Corporate AV installs and works just fine but it's rather expensive if you have to buy it.
