HP Total Care Advisor

    Is this necessary or even helpful with Vista? I currently use XP which has a Security Center and this seems to duplicate some of the monitoring HP Total Care would do.

    The only HP software I left on my PC is HP Quick Launch Buttons

    I uninstalled mine.
    No ill effects.
    In fact, HP is now recommending you uninstall it, and has an uninstall tool as part of their "recommended downloads".

    Second thing I uninstalled right after Symantec.;)

    Same here,lost the bloat ware

    Odd that HP would recommend uninstall of thrir own software but good to know that it isn't anything critical.
