    Hi all

    Its very easy to stop autoplay from control panel
    However I don't know how to stop autorun on Win7 Home Edition

    On win7 pro or ultimate we can use gpedit.msc to disable autorun
    But home edition doesn't have group policy editor

    Can anyone help me to solve this matter?

    If it is very easy via Control Panel, I do not really understand what is your problem. Well, whatever....

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
    "NoDriveTypeAutoRun"=dword:000000ff
    "NoAutorun"=dword:00000001
    "DontSetAutoplayCheckbox"=dword:00000001

    Save as REG, double click, import.

    For global disable, replace HKEY_CURRENT_USER with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

    Unfortunately some USB devices present themselves as removable media (CD/DVD-style). Also, I do not see USB mentioned anywhere in the original question, so kinda do not get your point here.

    You can also disable autorun using Panda USB Vaccine or by installing Panda Cloud. :)
