How to shut off Kaspersky SPAM ??

My Kaspersky Internet Security had a welcoming surprise this morning when I logged onto my computer: SPAM. The pop-up wanted me to recommend to my friends to use KIS and in return they would get some discount and I could sleep better. Is there any way to turn off the KIS SPAM pop-ups? If this were some free product I could see where they would advertise this way. But when I pay for a product I do not expect or appreciate SPAM or other types of advertising.

 

Settings > Notifications > Promotional notifications, did you try unchecking those?

 

I looked and the only thing that looked possible was the "other important notifications"...nothing in "promotional notifications, promotions, etc. I'm running 2013. Wish they would put a category under the "spam" settings to block KIS spam.
