I have turned off automatic updates (XP Home SP2). Everytime I logon I get this security popup to tell me my system may be at a risk. This is the same popup that would tell me if I had no AV installed.

The question is: How to remove these popups?

Control Panel, Security Center, on the left side, change the way security center alerts me.

    Uncheck what you don't want.

Option 1: Disable the Security Center service, which is useless (IMO).
Option 2: Go to the Security Center and at the left-botton, click on "Change Security Center settings" to change the type of notifications.
