Is there an extension add-on or a another way to open PDF documents in FF?

I am able to open and view PDF documents fine while using IE (through Foxit Reader) but when I try to open the same file through FireFox...the page goes blank and I don't get the open/save file download box.

Could this be a FF settings issue or is an extension needed?

    Thanks.

If you just recently uninstalled Adobe, you have to remove the plugin or something. I recall i had the same problem, and eventually that was it. After you remove it, and open a pdf, Firefox will ask which application, you answer Foxit.

In Firefox, tools, options, content is the location where you choose programs to open files.
