BTW,Does anybody know the sample collection E-mail?
EMON is designed for like Thunderbird, The Bat or Outlook Express. So, if you are not using such a program, you can disable EMON.
As for IMON, set your browser (Firefox, Opera or IE) to "high compatability", which is the application default.
EMON is a MAPI scanner for MS Outlook only. If you use MS Outlook, it will pass gmail email to EMON for checking without the need to configure anything.
IMON only scans SMTP traffic, but there are directions to use IMON and stunnel to get it to scan the encrypted SSL session via redirection using IMON. See this thread for more info: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=152382&highlight=stunnel
EMON is only compatible with Outlook (not Express). EMON scans all messages via the MAPI interface with Outlook (both incoming and outgoing).
The sample collection e-mail is samples[at]eset.com
