How can I backup all settings and rules of v2.06?

Are these stored in a file or in registry (where exactly?) ?

Primarily I want to backup them for later restore for v2.06. However
I think about uninstalling v2.06 then installing v2.07 and restore all the old settings & rules. Is this possible?

Or can I even install v2.07 on top of v2.06 (with uninstallation)?

    Matt

I just installed 2.07 WITHOUT uninstalling 2.06 in windows7, it rebooted and all my setting were still there.

You have to use the "Extra save" checkbox, in the Options tab.
This will create a .reg file (registry file) with your settings, and you can reimport them later into the registry.
You have also to make a copy of your ruleset file (.rls file), this one is not stored in the registry, it's simply a file to backup (however the pathname of the currently used .rls is in the .reg file, and you have to put it exaclty in the same location, or you have to select the new location, in the Internet Filtering tab).

    Regards,

    Frederic
