On Windows ME how can I tell what version of java I'm using? I don't think it's the Sun version because there's nothing listed in add/remove programs or in the control panel. And if it's a Windows version how can it be removed and replaced with the Sun version. Thanks very much.

If you are running Windows XP....you can go into your Control Panel, right click on Java and select Open. Then, select the Java tab....and under Java Application Runtime Settings, there is a button called view. If you select that, it should tell you which version you currently have.
