Worked fine, much lighter than full version. Much less issues as well.

    I may try it.
    Are you still running it?
    Impressions?
Ah, so you had issues with the full version as well?

    No, only Firefox user now.
Worked quite well against currently malicious sites (Firefox version is also great). Unsure about fraud.
It was a bloated junk that severely lagged my browser.

I just use two extensions AdBlockPlus and Bit.ly, haven't found much use for any other extensions yet.

You added what? Where's that in the Chrome store? My assumption is it is a separate addon to show how well it works in v15?

It's not in the chrome store - not official at all. Someone sorta "hacked" it together to work with the new API and it only works in v15.

Works well so far - hulu ads are blocked for example, something that definitely was not possible before.

I noticed your comment in the ABP forum about the api being pushed back until v16..that sucks. However, the silver lining is that, at least for now, those using 15 have it, and, crossing fingers, v16 Beta might have at least the experimental in.

Yes, pushed to v16. It's a shame and it may not even be the last time it's going to be pushed (it's been pushed since 13 I think?) so we could really see another few months before it hits stable.

I wonder why TrafficLight isn't displaying an icon next to the other three extensions I have installed? o_O

Isn't there an older, more appropriate thread for Chrome extensions? ;)

It's there at a tiny green tab above every website and below address bar.

Thanks, J_L. I knew that, just thought the area in the top right would be showing all extension icons. ;)

Nah, extensions opt into that. It's not always how they work.

    Might be overkill with TrafficLight.

On school computer with Google Chrome Portable, I'm currently using only Adblock Plus, LastPass, and Universal Search, along with some bookmarklets and userscripts.

Everything else is unessential (security & privacy doesn't matter on school computer with extensive filtering, Sophos, and DeepFreeze).

I want to check out Universal Search.
I see a few of them in the Chrome web store...

    Universal Search & IE8 Accelerators
    Universal Search (TheWorld Chrome 定制版)
    Universal search bar

Anything you can tell me about it, why you like it, etc?

I use the top one. I like it, because you can use multiple search plugins within Chrome now, without resorting to its settings every time. Also, it allows you to easily search selected ext.

Didn't add IE8 Accelerator, because they can't install anymore (due to IE9).
