How do you run XP in Safe mode?

    When i restart my comp i've tried f8 and for some reason when i look at the bottom of the start up screen the option to boot in different ways isnt their and f8 doesn't work. is there an easier way beside going into dos and doing it?

    Just start tapping f8 just as soon as you push the start button. Should work

    true the only secure computer is an unplugged one i like that quote
