    Hi,

how can I know, whether the partition I formatted via Disk-Utility (on 10.6) now contains an ext2, an ext3 or ext4 filesystem? All it says is: Extended Filesystem.

The reason I want to know this, is, that I had to format a 2nd partition on an sdcard as extX for an Android app, and this app wants to know, which format the filesystem exactly is.

    Thanks.
