How come nobody uses PC Tools AntiVirus Free Edition

    It seems, one of these:

    I read up on it and it seems it's a regulation imposed by the US Chamber of Commerce on any organization that works on its soil as an embargo against trade with those nations.

    Exactly....I m Iranian....pc tools and mcafee were the first ones to start banning my IP....then Symantec(just downloading the softwares,updating is going on)....Avg.....and avast in the end
    (you see,we(home users= home victims) have lots of choice :D

    avg and avast banning started in the following year,but others are too old in this area

    we use IP hiding methods(such as VPN) to use programs like avast,but as I mentioned, pc tools does not worth ....

    Well, there are still a lot of good alternatives, you could just take your business elsewhere right? :)

    Anyway, let's see - if we're going to see a free Norton, it might just be worth it ;)
