I agree. It should be the same as in HitmanPro where build number is located in main window.

Yes, HitmanPro.Alert stable builds and betas are updated to the next stable build, as soon as there's a new stable build, as there is today.

I'm experiencing some problems with Chrome and the latest build (77), probably related to MBAE. There is always some random extension that doesn't work, the opening page is blank and Chrome always gives me an error message when closing. I'm using the now undead OS Windows XP and what is on my signature.

Make sure you run build 77 (right click on executable in Program Files\HitmanPro.Alert\hmpalert.exe.

Does the issue go away if you uninstall Alert?

Confirming that HMPA 2.6.5 build 77 solved the issues I had on my Vista x86 machine.

    Thanks Erik!

Are there any known compatibility issues using HitmanPro.Alert together with Emsisoft Anti-Malware?

It's odd, after starting Chrome in Incognito mode just once the problems seem to have disappeared, at least for now.

When they were present I could get rid of them by just stopping Alert with 'net stop hmpalert'. And yes, I'm running build 77.

I'll keep an eye on it.

Sadly my issues with Chrome are back. Mainly, tabs that don't load and are left blank.

Tabs that don't load and are left blank sounds like running WSA with Chrome. I have to shutdown WSA after boot because of tab loading problems.

I presume you mean WSA together with Chrome cause that issue, even without HMP.A as an additional factor?
Or do you mean WSA and Chrome together with HMP.A?

Since i started using WSA with Chrome late last year i have had new tab and some extension freezing problems. I just shut it down after boot now. Not sure if i turned off HMPA or MBAE or others to see if it helped.

I'm thinking you should post over in the Prevx help section or at Webroots official forums about it.

Have you tried so, vojta, or Dragon1952?
I can imagine when using several security applications in combination, it can be hard to find out which combination could be causing certain issues.

The problems started with the last two builds of Alert. It was said that the previous build had an incompatibility with MBAE that was solved with build 77. I'm just trying to be helpful, everything was ok with WSA and the rest of programs two days ago. Never had blank pages before.

By the way, today the problems disappeared once more by opening Chrome in Incognito mode...in the evening. This morning that didn't work, lol.

    Thank you very much, vojta.
That really seems to indicate that HMP.A is indeed the (additional?) factor that is causing that issue.
I hope SurfRight can find a way to diagnose and solve this issue.

We are unable to reproduce with WSA + Alert + Chrome 34 installed. I'll try some more but I think I'm missing an extension? Note that Chrome updated to v34 on the same day we released Alert build 77.

Anyone else having issues with WSA and Alert 2.6.5? So far only one report.

It sometimes happens to me even with just Adblock Plus and Http Switchboard, the extensions on my signature. After trying a lot of combinations I found that by adding extensions like the Evernote web clipper or reputation checkers like Bitdefender's Trafficlight this happens more frequently. If you can't reproduce it with those extensions then it must be something very specific on my system and maybe not worth the effort.

Another one running that set up without any problems Erik, also using Sandboxie and the only Chrome extensions are Adblock Plus, Exif Viewer and WSA Password Manager.

There is no 64-bit download, just the 32-bit EXE. The hmpalert.exe contains both 32-bit and 64-bit components. The EXE is 32-bit but DLL and driver are 64-bit.

    Hope this helps.
