    Hi
I have recently purchased a new Athlon PC running windows XP pro which has been running perfectly. I tried to make a wireless netwok connection in my house to an old P3/450 running win98se. Ever since that connection was made my machine running XP has had a dramatic decrease in performance. It now takes up to a minute to open any program and once it has finally opened that program it takes forever to do even the most simple task. I checked the windows task manager and there are 37 processes running (34 of which are .exe files). I have now disconnected the network and performed a system restore, to no avail. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Below is the log from HijackThis

Thankyou very much for your assistance

Ashley - you might wish to repost this, using Copy and Paste to include the HJT log in the post rather than as an attachment. This will make it easier for those who know what they're doing and who are in a position to help.
