Hiding/Changing IP Address on PHPBB Forum Boards

    is there a nice and easy way to hide or change my IP ADDRESS while posting at forum boards?

    To be honest there isnt unless you are using a proxy server to browse the net. sorry!

    yes i am on a proxy server. is there a software or something to change my IP address?

    If you have a fixed address there isnt, but its worth going to www.grc.com(shields up test - common ports + service ports) to see if it has a reverse dns, this can provide lots of info abouty you while online.

    Its worth investigating, not sure what the experts have to sday about this. I could be wrong of course.

    Just out of curiosity why do you want to hide your IP adress on forums. Surely you don't post anything you want to hide from :D ;)
