    hi all ive added pg to my list now on the main interface what do i ticko_O
    i have
    protecton
    execution protection

    do i tick block new and changed appz


    also global do i tick all them?? if i open a word doc i gotta permit then i tick always remember this is that right?? if i tick the global protection Options will i get botherd to much? thanks MD o_O o_O o_O

    Only if you are certain that all your apps have been run and you want to lock ProcessGuard down very tightly.

    Usually you should tick all four global protections whilst in learning mode (after the first reboot) so that your trusted programs get the necessary flags, then reboot whilst still in learning mode to complete the process, finally switch off learning mod.

    For programs that you use regularly such as Word then I would tick "permit always" this reduces the alerts substantially, remember that if Word.exe was to change then PG would see the change and alert you anyway. :)
