With Eset Nod32 + Spyshelter in Windows XP, with firewall do you chose?

Look'n'Stop (paid) or Online Armor (free)?

I'm testing Outpost but i need to restart my PC almost every hour.

HIPS from Eset Nod32 is disabled.

I have a license for Online Armor but i use it in other PC.

    Thanks.

    Hi.

    Thanks.

Do you think OA free don't overlap Spyshelter?

Why not try Privatefirewall. It's free. And since you have Spyshelter, you can choose to disable the HIPS component.

PWF has behavioral blocker module (earlier standalone Dynamic Security Agent)...DSA works differently and I think is not necesary to disable HIPS module in SS.

BTW...you can look at this threads and find some alternative

That is an option. Actually I'm running EAM along side PFW, both full shields enabled. No problem at all.:D

    Thank you all.

Because Online Armor Free and SpyShelter free, they slow down my PC, I uninstalled SS free and i'm using only OA free and PC works better.

This weekend i will try PrivateFirewall+SpyShelter.

    Now, i need another advise:
May I use Online Armor free or SpyShelter (payed/free)+PrivateFirewall?

Some good in using SS payed instead of SS free?

I don't use this PC for shopping/banking online.

    Thanks.

Actually, I like your initial setup, NOD32, then SpyShelter while restricting your Internet-facing apps. As for the firewall, however, I'll stick with Windows XP Firewall, especially if you're behind a router.
