help with data miners

I paid for the 4.0 version of ewido hoping to stop data mining cookies. I have remove tracking cookies ticked on the active shield but I continually get them on my pc. Ewido picks them up when I manually scan but doesn't seem to keep them from coming back after they are deleted.
Am I missing something or is there a problem with ewido?

 

Which browser are you using? The tracking cookie shield only works for IE/firefox

There is a problem with ewido!

Ewido should be picking up trackers realtime but it is not, this is due to a bug causing ewido to monitor the wrong folder. We are waiting for this, and several other bugs, to be addressed as soon as Grisoft decide to OK the new changes.

 

Thanks. Interesting that they released product with live tracking that doesn't work. How long have they known of this bug?

I'm confident that the matter would have been dealt with by now if it wasn't for the aquisition of ewido by Grisoft. Ewido used to be very responsive to this sort of thing but Grisoft are not!
