    Hi,

I am having a very terrible time with my computer right now trying to remove whatever it is that is infecting it. It's been this way for about three months now and everything I have tried hasn't worked. Everytime I reboot my computer, I get a notice saying that a file in the C: directory named program could cause problems, so it needs to be renamed. For some reason, it creates a new file named "Program" everytime I reboot. If I don't delete the old ones for a while, I end up with Program1-Program8 etc.

Also, I have been getting locked out of some websites, Borders e-mail bargains don't pop up, instead I get this annoying "Flashlightsearch" page, that never finds the real page anyhow. I also got locked out of Dell Support Forums, so I couldn't even try and find a solution there. Here is my HiJack This log if it helps.

    Hi Quick !

    Welcome to Wilders ! :)

First Check the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs feature for TV Media ; Support.com aka Comcast Support; If these entries are there, then please remove it.

When you've done that, restart your machine.

Now, first move HijackThis.Exe to a separate folder of its own. The program will make backups to the folder it's in. These easily get lost in a temporary folder or a folder with other programs or at desktop. Then, Re-scan your machine with hijackthis, copy the contents and paste them here to be checked because this forum is not a proper place for Hijackthis log.

I'd request admin to merge your new thread with this thread.

    Thanks for your Co-operations !
    Newkid !
