I think there is a virus or something inside my comp.
the situation is that the browser(IE 6.0) wont load (blank page). such as the page on hotmail or banking service. There is a little lock sign show down at the status bar says "SSL secured (128 bit)". i tried everything such as defualt my internet option, but nothing works...

another problem with my comp is when u open a window such as the window when u set up user accounts nothing shows, (blank) except back and forward button. u can find the user accounts window when u click start (win XP) and my mcafee window is also blank made me impossible to detect any virus, i tired online scan but nothing was found...

plz help if u got any idea what happen to my comp, thanks alot =]

    Hi techer,

    Welcome to Wilders.

Before you start, please unzip or move HijackThis to a separate folder of its own. The program will make backups to the folder it's in. These easily get lost in a temporary folder or a folder with other programs.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {BC207F7D-3E63-4ACA-99B5-FB5F8428200C} - (no file)

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {1E1B2879-88FF-11D3-8D96-D7ACAC95951A} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\bpkwb.dll (file missing)

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D157330A-9EF3-49F8-9A67-4141AC41ADD4} - (no file)

    O3 - Toolbar: Norton AntiVirus - {42CDD1BF-3FFB-4238-8AD1-7859DF00B1D6} - C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\NavShExt.dll (file missing)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WAQEVWAY] C:\WINDOWS\WAQEVWAY.exe

O11 - Options group: [!IESearch] !IESearch

    O16 - DPF: {2F0D1DA3-F3E4-4C67-BB5C-5AFD70C1A4A5} (UDConnect Class) - http://15.sharedsource.org/html/UDConn.cab

    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://207.188.7.150/1774a9ab0b72cc...ip/RdxIE601.cab

    O16 - DPF: {AB29A544-D6B4-4E36-A1F8-D3E34FC7B00A} (WTHoster Class) - http://install.wildtangent.com/bgn/...stx/install.cab

There also may be hidden files. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:

    C:\WINDOWS\WAQEVWAY.exe

Reboot and then post a fresh HijackThis log.

    Regards,
    Kent

i did as u said, i opened the sevices thing, i enabled all the service at the STANDARD , and the cryptographic thing is already up and started... and i enabled all the service except symantec's service, because i already unistalled symantec.

but the extended window seems alittle bit weird....
