Norton's Ghost is nothing to do with Ghost Security or this forum. However stopping someone from copying your disk is easy enough - don't allow them access to your computer! Copying a full partition takes time also (depending on the data stored and disk speed, 30GB should take around half-an-hour) so it isn't something that could be done surreptitiously either.

Norton Ghost can acces to the hardrive without any need of the host operating system, this mean you can't really install something on windows to block him from doing so.

    1) However, you may need to prevent him from doing so

1.1)Block physical access to the computer
1.2)Remove the hardrive when you are not using it (beware of static)
1.3) You can set your bios to not boot on floppy or CD-rom.
You then need to protect your bios with a password.

    2) Or you can make the copied data useless

2.1) Buy yourself a full disk encription software. Your frien may still copy your drive but he can do nothing with it.
2.2) Waint until windows vista, buy a computer that have a TPM chip and enable full disk encryption.

    3) How the hell did you land here thingking it's a symantec forum ?
did you google on ghost ?
or you wanted to be secure against gost so you googled
    Ghost + security ?

First you need to redefine something. If you are worried that he would do this knowing you don't want him to HE ISN"T YOUR FRIEND. Act accordingly.
If he's a roommate you have an access control problem, but if he doesn't live in your home, it should be a lot easier.
