See the little box next to the avatars with the check mark in them.
If those are white, that person {or creature} is logged in.
If the box is dark, then they are logged out.

But, I'm kinda lazy.
So, I just leave mine logged in all day....
...but, if I'm not posting some'em, I'm problably not right here at the puter.

Wilders could easily defeat any other forum in rocks paper scissors.

 

Additionally, you can see the logged in or "active" members at the bottom of the index (main) page of the forum. Should BeetleBoss leave herself logged in, she will still "disappear" from that list after 15 minutes of inactivity. You can also click the username of an individual and see the options such as "view public profile." The last one is to add to your buddy list - I hav enot used this myself, but I believe it somehow makes it easier to see if that individual is online

When you add someone to the buddy list, you will see a + symbol next to the names of your buddies when you look at the bottom of the index page (where the "active" members are listed).

Just to make it simpler, I'll give an example.

Ronjor is in my buddy list (yes he is really in my list ). So whenever I log in, and look at the active members list at the bottom of the index list, Ronjor's name will be displayed as "Ronjor+" if he is online (without the quotes or the bold letters.)
