Having zopzop's problem w/ a Dlink DIR-615

    Hey zopzop: you never said whether the replacement router Dlink sent you solved your problem.

    Oh it did! The Revision A of the router is absolute GARBAGE. GARBAGE!

    The Revision B (or better yet Revision C) work fine. I never had a problem with its range or speed just that fact that it would choke up and stop working (needing a reboot to work).

    If you are under warranty definitely call them up and tell them about your problem and if/when they offer to replace it for you DEMAND RevB or RevC of the router.

    If the warranty expired definitely get a new router. It's not worth the headache of fooling around with RevA of this model to get it working right (I never could, even with Dlink's tech support).
