a while back i decided to try ghostsurf platinum as an anonymizer. pg gave me alerts every time i ran any executable related to it. the only possible side effect would probably a slow startup, but i was wondering all the programs would need access to physical mem.

Hi WSFuser, Some programs may need to have access to other protected programs physical memory IE being one, if the program given the Access to Physical memory is trusted there should not be much of a risk. If disallowing causes a problem then you would need to allow it.
With ProcessGuard you are seeing a lot deeper into what is going on inside your machine and the way that it works, this a real eye opener to many.

    Cheers. Pilli :)
