gewall & ThreatFire

    Gewall and threat Fire does the same thing right?


    of these 2 which on is more developed better for pretection and compatible with Avast home:p

    GeSWall and Avast run fine together here.
    GeSWall is a policy based HIPS.
    ThreatFire is more of a behavaior blocker if i'm not mistaken.

    and wats more effective a HIPS or a behaviour blocker?

    Thats up for debate.
    Try them both, see which you prefer.
    You could try one then the other and if you like them both,try them together and you have no conflict's they both could be part of your layered security setup.
    I would just make sure you have some form of a back up, just in case. :D
