Geswall & Outlook 2007 - detection ?

Hello,
i'm a new user of Geswall and it works fine in detecting and isolating Firefox wheh it started a connection. But it's not detecting Outlook 2007 when establishing a connection ? I know that Geswall is not anoutbound-firewall but i understood that it checks all apps that start an internet connection ? Am i totally wrong ?

depends on what version you have. Free version only isolates browsers and reading programs (adobe etc) The pro version isolates alot more apps.

 

Thank you, i'm testing the free version. I think it's not too important that they are detected automatically as i can even set it up manually.

 

You can use the application wizard to add software that isn't covered. It's fairly easy and works well.
