Comodo Pro Firewall. Active Virus Shield. Cyberhawk Free.

Or you could use a-squared Anti-Malware with CPF and AVS instead of CH for even better pretection.

Add BoClean to that list and you've got my favorite combo...

If you have any PC Tools licenses you could turn it up a notch and get CyberHawk Pro for free-

I have some old PC Tools licenses that are still valid although I do not use thr programs and have them deleted from my computer. I just check marked what I have and received a license key for Cyberhawk Pro. After a month the license is still good.

    Best choices with your preferences:

    a) AOS + A2 IDS (paid, when you have a router with FW you could skip Comodo)

    b) AOS + CFW + Cyberhawk (free) + Bo-clean (free)

No sandboxes or virtualization (GeSWall free/Sandboxie, Returnil free/PowerShadow)?

    Regards K

Hey 19mont64. arc1965, I would try to get CH Pro but I don't truly have any license from PC Tools products. However it looks like you have a lot of faith in a-squared's IDS Guard Kees1958. I am behind a router with a FW so I may not add Comodo Pro and just stay with AVS and a-squared, but I always liked Cyberhawk for some reason and wouldn't mind having the Pro version on board again to see how the latest release runs on my PC. I'm not sure but sometimes it seems that a-squared can slow down my wireless speed slightly if that's possible.

If you are interested there may still be some free versions of PC Tools programs on ComputerActive.com. The dates have expired but I have noticed that does not usually mean a whole lot on that web site. This is one I found. There may be others.

Thanks arc1965. Privacy Guardian worked. Is there anyway to stop CH from starting up after reboot? I may want to run a-squared instead after awhile, but don't want to have both running.
