General request when posting about software: give links

    I hope that I am allowed to ask for this:

    When posting about software (be it updates or maybe for other reasons), please give the link to the site of that software. No, not the direct download link, but the site of that software. And when a changelog is available for a new version, please give that link.
    Wouldn't that be good practice to do so?
