gedza worm removal tool

    hi,

    there are quite some people infected with this worm on the irc... is there a removal tool for it? or would someone be so nice and make one :)

    Most AVs should be able to handle this worm. You'll find the manual removal instructions over here.

    i am ok for myself... what i have problem are the people that dont know what an antivirus is... removal tools like the ones from symantec, mcafee stinger, kaspersky,... are just to good to be true for them... and that is something i am looking for this worm (would write my own one if the worm would not be a little bit to complicted :)

    i saw now that trend has a "removal tool" but the thing is 6mb big, 1.5 for the tool and 4.5 for the base :(

    I see where you're coming from. As far as I know, there's no equivalent like Stinger for this one around - only this big trend thingie.
