Free Image Program that restores ALL partitions

    Unfortunatly you can't in the current version. It splits the images in 2 gb files and cannot be changed...

    If it is a feature you really need go here http://redobackup.org/bugs/ and ask them to add a "don't split" option.

    A non split option would be good. And isn't restoring a split image more likely to fail than restoring a single image file? Or it don't matter?

    it should not matter one bit if the program is decent.

    for example, with IFW you can specify a size to make the image fit on DVDs, CDs, etc

    As moontan pointed there is no difference between the two.
    I never had a problem with splitted images and I prefer them since they are easier to tranfer and to defrag.
