    That's not the ask toolbar, that's just a button for internet search or something. You can hide it through the settings. The ask toolbar installs itself on to your browser

    on my zx10-r
    correct that is not the ask toolbar. the ask toolbar would show up in internet explorer and possibly firefox

    is there a way to hide navigation panel by default ?


    by the way ,is enought to download the portable version
    install the portable version
    and inside there is a folder foxit without adware and other crap stuff

    You can with 4.3.1.0323, the last decent version imo. In Preferences>History, enable "Restore last view settings when opening." If you had it hidden before it'll stay that way till you change it. If you're already using that version or earlier and it won't stay hidden, a clean install should correct it. In 5 the setting doesn't stick no matter what you do.
