First Look: Ultimate Edition 2.2 and PCLinuxOS 2009.1 GNOME

    Yeah, the PCLinuxOS Gnome looks very nice..... I will have to try this one.

    It also runs really nice, it's faster than my Ubuntu Jaunty (except boot-up) :cool: IMO the MiniMe Zen version is the best, build it the way you want.

    On a some what sad note, doesn't look like there will ever be a 64bit version......

    Yep, that's what I heard too. I first ran PCLinuxOS back when it was 0.93a a couple years ago I guess... It was my favorite for about a year, but then I got sidetracked, and have not tried it for over a year now. Wish there were an x64 version too, that would be great. Back a while ago, I had KDE, Gnome and Xfce all installed, and it was pretty nice. And yeah, hard to beat the Ubuntu startup/boot time now. :)

    Just finished installing PCLinuxOS, looks great, easy and well organised. UE next.

    PCLinuxOS is great indeed i download it and use it. It look more professional and sober look than Ultimate Edition 2.2 i guss....:D
