Goback was my first use of a rollback type program, and I really liked it. As I've posted before my biggest concern was that handling several large files, or a disk defrag, and Goback would turn itself off. Bummer.
First Defense makes a snapshot, which stays intact forever(or until you change it) and solves the problem that potentially was there with Goback. Great.

    But.....

There was one thing about Goback that I greatly missed with First Defense. In the course of my morning, I might modify several spreadsheets, 3 or 4 times, sometimes with 5 to 10 minutes. With Goback I could retrieve, anyone of those previous versions at will. Can't readily do that with FDISR. I really missed that feature.

    Solution....

You can specify files types like *.xls, and directories like My Documents, and then it archives these files with every save you make. You can get previous versions just like in GoBack. This program is light, inexpensive, and works.

    I am happy :D
