    Hello everybody,

sorry I am new to the subject and I installed most of the protection software (and other stuff) running on my PC barely on the advice of friends. I am aware that my question may seem very stupid, but I don't find the answer by myself, so I am taking the risk to ask it here.

I use Windows XP Home and Internet Explorer 6. I have an antivirus (AntiVir) and a firewall (ZoneAlarm) installed and I regularly update them.

Why would I need SpywareBlaster if I already have an active firewall running?

    Jenny

spyware blaster isnt a firewall or antivirus, its a form of spyware protection software, spyware can be gathered if u have a firewall or antivirus, cuz alot of times u can just pick it up from a site, a "Cookie" or "dialer" or other forms of spyware, spyware blaster protects against these by blocking the sites/cookies/clsid's

    Hope this helps :D

(also, if u dont have adaware and spybot S & D, i would suggest u download them too)
