    may i ask a question about the last version of comodo firewall only?

    how much ram does need the servise?

    In comaprison to Win XP FW...no
    In comparison to Privatefirewall...SSFW has one still running process (PVFW - I remember two) but in conclusion the usage of RAM is similar.

    Personally I'd stay away from Spyshelter Firewall. The software may be good but from my experience they don't bother responding to support questions. After 6 attempts through their web site I gave up

    IMO, usage of RAM & number of processes are less significant to "lightness" than are CPU usage and Disk I/O. I cannot compare PFW to SSFW by these attributes because I am not running SSFW -- neither do I wish to do so for the moment.
