    Most are compatible with NOD32.

La mayoría son compatibles con NOD32.

ZoneAlarm Pro has more features than ZoneAlarm Free, both are compatible with NOD32.

ZoneAlarm Pro tiene más características que ZoneAlarm Free, ambos son compatibles con NOD32.

Whatever negative written is not true IMHO. Moreover, it is upto the user to fall prey to marketing techniques. The fact cannot be denied that comodo is good and ABSOLUTELY FREE.

Absolute nonsense of a post from that guy (not you nonmirecordo :D )
Some very good rebuttals and facts here...

    http://forums.comodo.com/index.php/topic,173.0.html

Major players like McAfee and Norton have pop ups saying you haven't installed this or that from their portfolio and has anyone seen any big hoo-haa about that?
Comodo launch pad, if selected to run has a window which opens and tells you what Comodo products you have installed, you have to actually click on a button to open a window to find out what other freeware they have. Hardly advertising compared to the big two is it?

Back on topic, I use Comodo and in the latest version you can disable the Launch pad from starting so you never have to see it if you don't want to.
NOD appears to be extremely good in respect that I've never seen it conflict with any firewall I've tried.

I'm using Comodo now with NOD32 and the combination works very well.

AFAIC it's the very best, that I found out when I tried them all then picked Outpost as the best.

    To All:

A little latitude was allowed in the above posts concerning Comodo and for those feeling compelled to continue said OT discussion....Please do so in an appropriate forum but not the NOD32 Support Forum.

    Thanks,
    Bubba

I like Comodo. I tried ZA Free and Pro before and had conflict problems with some of my other programs.

    Just my humble opinion.

I am using AOL AVS with Comodo Firewall, but I had problems with using AVS with both Sunbelt Kerio Firewall 4.3.2, and ZA Free 6.1.744 and it's newest version. Not blaming the other Firewalls, but AVS has been working fine with Comodo.

My recommendation would be new Outpost Firewall Pro 4.0 (released today) but you should test few firewalls to see which suits your needs better.

However there is some interesting fact about selecting the right firewall to use along with NOD32 antivirus. So the fact is that most NOD32 distributors are also selling it bundled with Outpost Firewall Pro. Surely this cannot guarantee you that they are 100% right, but for me it was very interesting fact.

Maybe Eset will license Outpost for their Internet Security Suite? I think that would be the best product ever.

I've tried many firewalls alongside nod32 and have had no problems. For a free firewall comodo, zonealarm or kerio are very good. If you have some cash to spend then outpost 4 or zonealarm pro are very good.
