People, when setted to authomatic mode, how does the firewall decide which action to take? Is it based in white list, black list or behaviour analisi?

    TIA,
    Scirious.

    From ESS's Help file"

It also blocks some outgoing connections (like Outgoing NetBIOS requests)

Thanks for your reply, HiTech_boy, but it didn't actually answer to my question.

    AGAIN :
The automatic mode allows all outbound traffic for the given system and blocks all new connections initiated from the network side

Eset Smart Security is has no behaviour analysis option for threats detection . All/Most programs that try to establish outgoing connection are allowed (like something like a whitelist) . If incoming traffic comes which is not wanted (nothing from inside the machine established a request) , this incoming is insolicated , this blocked .

The other filtering modes are like black/white listed , this time the user creates this list (a.k.a rules) .

I mentioned one sentence hoping you can draw an inference from it . Anyway , you are welcome :thumb:
